what was I thinking?

Somewhere between Quiet Riot and Loverboy. A lovely ensemble of aqua and tiger stripe, accented with wristbands AND headband. Note the huge leapord spot backdrop that me and my sister, Anne, sewed in the basement. My mom sewed the aqua shirt! This was 1985, maybe 86?

fuscia

Feel the rock power of fuscia tiger stripe, backed with four Marshall cabinets! This was around 1987 or 88. I still gig with the one remaining cabinet, and the ol' 1972 Marshall head!

glad you have fresh breath!

Me and Dane "Oot" Poe, in Gunrunner. 1988.

must buy more aquanet

Another Gunrunner pic. I think this was Rapid, SD.

there can never be to much animal print.

This pretty much sums it up. Tiger stripe drums, the leapord backdrop, and a band called "Porsha". That's one of my oldest and best friends, Aaron Jones, from Carbondale, IL.

trying too hard to be cool

Me in '88.

The Event

The Event. Carbondale, IL, early 1985?

Porsha

The Event broke up, and then regrouped as "Porsha". Same songs, just more hair and more tiger stripe. My mom sewed my gold leapord print pants!

what, no spandex?

I don't have anything funny to say about this one.

too much eyeliner.

This was Gunrunner, '87/'88. We played 5 and 6 nighters all over the Midwest and South, from Wyoming to Mississippi. It was a helluva party!

That's about it. I spared you the pics of me in the Holiday Inn lounge bands that played all over hell in '86/'87. And my earliest bands, I somehow don't have a single pic!
